What is the Dallas Healthy Start Program?

The Dallas Healthy Start program is an in-home service that aims to reduce infant deaths, preterm, and low-weight births.

The staff is made up of English and Spanish-speaking community health workers and health educators that provide prenatal and postpartum classes among other educational opportunities.

Watch as Nishell Jackson, a Community Health Worker of Parkland Health & Hospital System, talks more about the program and all it has to offer community members.
