When you’re expecting a baby, it can be an exciting time. But it can also be stressful – especially if you don’t have family or friends nearby to help.
All expecting moms can use a little extra support. That’s why Parkland Community Health Plan is happy to offer the free Pyx mobile app to our pregnant members age 18 and older.
Pyx is a friendly, positive presence in an expecting mom’s day. You’ll interact with Pyxir, a digital “friend,” through a series of chats. These chats can help you deal with stressful situations and offer support when you need it most.
The app also includes fun activities to help you relax, tips on how to live a healthy life – and even a few jokes to make you smile.
Pyx can connect you with health plan resources, like finding a ride to the doctor or access to healthy food. It can also connect you with PCHP’s Member Relations team and 24/7 Nurse Line.
To sign up for Pyx and download the app, click here. Then, just answer a few questions to help Pyx create an experience that’s right for you.
If you are an expecting mother who is new to Parkland Community Health Plan, Pyx will contact you to help get you started.
