Member Spotlight: Value-Added Services

As a Parkland Community Health Plan member, you get more than just your regular plan benefits. You also have access to value-added services that can help your family stay healthy – at no extra cost.

In addition, members can earn rewards for completing activities like checkups, health screenings, and vaccines (shots). Rewards can include gift cards and other healthy items from PCHP’s rewards catalog.

All PCHP plans include:

• 24/7 Nurse Line.
  
• Free car seat for completing your first prenatal visit.
• Up to 10 free, home-delivered meals each month for postpartum members (STAR/CHIP: 3 months; CHIP Perinate: 2 months).
• Reward for completing an annual Health Risk Assessment.
• Reward for getting your annual flu shot.
• NEW: $50 reward for completing a postpartum checkup.

STAR (Medicaid) and CHIP plans include:

• Reward for a PCP visit within 90 days of enrolling with PCHP.
• Rewards for well-baby, well-child, and well-adolescent checkups.
• Rewards for managing diabetes care, including diabetic eye exams and HbA1c blood tests.
• Rewards for refilling asthma, ADHD, and antidepressant medications.
• Rewards for follow-up visits after behavioral health hospitalization.
• Free annual sports physical (ages 5-19).
• Boys & Girls Club allowance for use on programs.
• Eyeglasses allowance, to be used for upgrades on frames.

STAR plans include:

• Free ride (once per month) to and from a grocery store, food bank, WIC office, or STAR renewal appointment.
• Free portable play yard with bassinet for getting a postpartum checkup.
• Free annual sports physical (ages 5-19).
• $300 allowance for adult dental services (age 21 and older)

Limitations and restrictions apply. Must be a member of Parkland Community Health Plan when completing the activities listed. Applicable for the 2027 Program Year (9/1/26 to 8/31/27).
